About my energy healing work
While I'm officially a Usui Reiki Master, my main credentials come from the helping beings that have offered to work with me. I am passionate about self-transformation and living authentically.
I came to this work several years ago, when I had been doing some deep work on myself to become more authentic and loving, and to heal the parts of me that I had buried under anger and self-hatred. In the course of opening my heart to love, I had a series of extraordinary experiences, in which I became open to beings from other dimensions and aware of my own multidimensional, timeless nature. While I had studied religion as an undergraduate and graduate student, I had no belief whatsoever in angels, helping spirits, past lifetimes, energy fields, crystals, etc., and when each of these began coming to me spontaneously, I was in crisis! It took me well over a year to make peace with my awakening and to begin practicing energy healing work, which I was invited to do by my helping spirits. They are my teachers, and have offered the tools and techniques I use during sessions.
While I am blessed to have a direct connection with beings of higher power (and I am deeply grateful each day for this gift), I believe that true sacredness lies in all that is human in each of us. We choose to incarnate in order to evolve, and each of us does it perfectly in our own way. Our healing does not come from our ancestors or angels; healing comes from each of us holding all of our parts--even the ones we don't like--in love..
Helping clients through my energy healing work is my great joy, whether they are spiritually awakened, seeking an alternative form of therapy in order to get "unstuck," or just want to try something different from mainstream western therapies. I truly believe that when we heal ourselves, we heal the collective. During this time of great turmoil and upheaval in the world, one of the most important things we can do is turn inward and come into alignment with our authentic selves, and then let that inner transformation manifest in a new way of being in the world, one that is based on love. When we shift, the world shifts.
